Marketing
We offer a customer-focused review of current activity and impact with recommendations on developing activities and diversifying where appropriate. We'll advise on use of new media and e-marketing and web design for maximum impact. We're specialists in working with Boards and sub-committees of established charities to develop marketing strategies and capital appeals. Business Development
We'll look at what you sell and how you sell it – in the charity world the product is often the charitable cause or need and we look at this in conjunction with marketing and fundraising. The skills are the same for business development as for fundraising, and the marketing area should be active in bringing in donors or buyers of your product. We are specialists in looking at the sales process, developing the confidence of staff who have to talk about the product, working out how best to overcome objections and ultimately selling the product or maximising donations. Communication
This covers how you communicate with customers and/or donors, and how your organisation is portrayed and engages with the media. Working on a tone and language that is suitable for the message that the organisation wishes to convey externally is a key part of our activity, alongside considering how best to promote success and generate newsworthy stories that get published and thus help develop awareness of your charity's brand. Business Efficiencies and Financial Management
Having skills and experience in business efficiencies and financial management, coupled with a detailed understanding of charity accounts and investments, enables us to make recommendations on the efficient running of your organisation. We have experience of running businesses at Director level as well as advising organisations whilst working at the Charities Aid Foundation and at the Social Investment Business, in addition to holding Trustee and non-executive director roles ourselves – giving the breadth of experience necessary to make a real difference to your charity. Fundraising
We don't look at fundraising in isolation – we are able to see it as part of the whole business or charity. We can look at your fundraising tactics and advise on corporate and individual fundraising, use of Trustee boards, donor engagement, payroll giving, events and more. We also specialise in strategic reviews of fundraising alongside Trustee Boards and can facilitate meetings to assist with developing a new approach agreed by the whole Board.
