Gill Gibb
Gill has worked in the Third Sector since 2005, spending three years as Director of Financial Services for the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), responsible for all marketing and business development and working as a Director for CAF Bank, a social enterprise, and CAF Marketing Services Ltd. During this time she successfully developed the products and services that CAF offered to the sector, growing business levels and ensuring that rates offered were maximised and fees minimised. The team under Gill’s leadership won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the area of innovation.
Gill also worked at Futurebuilders England as Executive Director for Market Development, advising charities and social enterprises on their business propositions and lending requirements as well as running the marketing, communications, media and business development functions across four different funds.
Gill currently runs her own business in the sector and is the part-time Executive Director for the Charity Employees Benevolent Fund which involves marketing and fundraising for this start-up proposition. She is also the not-for-profit Director for Knowledge Peers, an information-sharing website.
Gill is a Trustee and non-executive Director for the Centrepoint Soho charity and Housing Association and Chair of their Finance and Audit Committee as well as being a Trustee and non-executive Director for the Charity Finance Directors Group (CFDG) and CFDG Trading Ltd.
Gill is a Business Leader for the Marketing Society, a Fellow of the RSA and started her working life as a graduate trainee for the Halifax. She has 18 years experience in retail banking having held a number of senior executive positions including running two standalone businesses for HBOS retail and was directly involved in the Halifax/Bank of Scotland merger. This gave Gill strategic and operational experience in business and product development, communications, marketing, risk management and organisational design.

Ron Green
An independent consultant since 2009, Ron is Managing Director of Innvente Solutions Limited, a consultancy he established to work exclusively with Third Sector organisations primarily in the areas of innovation and enterprise. He has a collaborative based approach to solving problems and realising the full potential of the organisations with whom he works.
Areas of expertise encompass ideation, evaluation and prioritisation of of ideas, proposition development, business and financial modelling, partner and outsourcing selection, planning and project management, implementation, sales and distribution and overall strategy.
By utilising well-developed and proven processes Innvente Solutions is able to drive work streams to a practical and successful conclusion.
Prior to this Ron spent seven years at CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) in a number of roles including Head of Product & Service Development, Financial Services, during which time CAF were the recipients of a Queen's Award for Enterprise for Innovation in Financial Services. Latterly, he was Head of Innovation across the whole business. During these years Ron was fortunate enough to develop a wide network in the Third Sector with the main focus being on financial investment for Third Sector organisations. He has written regularly for the Third Sector press on aspects of investment and presented to a large number of trustee boards and wider audiences.
Career experience before joining the Third Sector was in international banking for a period of almost 30 years, much of which was spent as a specialist within Treasury. Roles included Head of Treasury Sales & Marketing at both ABN-Amro Bank and Rabobank London. He was also Deputy Treasurer at Woolwich Plc prior to becoming a Director, International Corporate Treasury at Barclays Capital.
Since working independently, Ron has undertaken ongoing work for the Social Investment Business (previously Futurebuilders) to develop a series of new products and services. In addition, he was instrumental in the start-up and development of 3SC, a social enterprise partnership set up to win and manage major public service contracts via consortia of Third Sector suppliers. At present, he continues in a part time interim role as Finance Director and company secretary.
Other projects have included help with the start up of a new school in London with a unique business model and mentoring the Chief Executive of a national charity. He is currently involved in helping set up a new community organisation model in the field of Health Services.

Doug Gibb
Doug Gibb
Doug has worked in the Third Sector since 2006, working at the Charities Aid Foundation for over four years with responsibility for group management accounts, forecasting and budgeting alongside developing the reporting and best practice for CAF Bank Ltd and CAF's Common Investment Funds. Doug is well versed in charity accounting practices and has up to date banking and investment knowledge.
Prior to this, Doug had a broad career as Finance Director and Group Finance Controller in a variety of different organisations including 10 years with Close Brothers Group plc, the investment bankers; Atlantic Bridge Aviation Ltd (incorporating Lydd airport); Capespan Ltd, the fruit importers and distributors; and The Rubicon Corporation, a venture capital backed insurance outsourcing company.
Doug is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, has an MSc in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University and is a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (AMCT). He is Voluntary Treasurer for the British Czech and Slovak Association and a volunteer Countryside Access warden and North Downs Way warden.

Faye Upton
Faye is a web professional with ten years' experience building websites for small and medium-sized organisations, including charities. She is a partner at e-Motive Media, the web design and marketing agency she started up in 2006, which specialises in creating user-friendly and accessible websites tailored to the individual needs of each of their clients. e-Motive Media provide consultancy on web strategy and online PR, produce business assets including logo design and business cards, and have directed and promoted several events featuring the professionals from Strictly Come Dancing.
Faye spent five years at the Charities Aid Foundation as Web Producer and Web Production Manager, with responsibility for both outward-facing websites and the organisation's Intranet, in addition to supporting marketing strategy with email campaigns, microsites, social networking and other online activities. Faye also served as a judge for the 2008 Charities Online Accounts Awards.
